Transport TR Clerk

We are currently looking for a Transport Administration Clerk to support the transport department. As an Administrator you'll be responsible for providing administrative support on day to day activities to ensure the smooth running of the department.,

• Monitor the mailbox dealing with queries ranging from deliveries, order details, product enquiries etc.
• Complete and maintain a variety of spreadsheets including daily reprints, expiry dates and batch checks
• Communicate with customer services and management in an efficient, polite and timely manner
• Process various bookings for exceptional orders for key hospital accounts and pharmacies
• Delegate emails to the correct department / individual to ensure any queries are resolved as quickly as possible
• Assemble and book emergency manual orders - following courier requests from customer services
• POD & missing's investigations
  
  Ability to use own initiative with strong prioritisation and planning skills to manage workload
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy with Word and Excel
• Experience of working in fleet is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with colleagues and internal and external suppliers
• The ability to work both as part of a team and with the confidence to work independently
• Ability to resolve problems when they arise
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential
Level of Decision Making: On completion of training this role does have some autonomy in decision making. The person employed in this role will be expected to use their initiative when dealing with general queries. #alliancehealthcare
