An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver our trauma-informed approach (TIA) training programme across organisations in Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System (ICS) and Frimley South ICS and Surrey Police. You will work as part of the Trauma-Informed Care Service to coproduce and co-deliver training for staff from a range of professional backgrounds and services.
There is a real drive for services and our system to be trauma-informed and you would be part of one of the only teams in the country that is completely co-led. We have been delivering a highly successful programme of teaching and consultation to help transform how organisations work for our staff and the people who use services. We know that these are challenging times for every service and staff wellness is vital for us to be able to deliver high quality services to support our communities. You will be part of a cross-organisation project with Surrey Heartlands ICS, Frimley ICS and Local Police as well as charitable organisations., A suitable candidate will have knowledge of Trauma-Informed Approach and experience of working with mental health difficulties and particularly trauma, and in coproduction (particularly with people who have used services).
This post is appropriate for Nurses, OTs, Social Workers, Clinical/Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists. You will have experience of coproducing high-quality training in a variety of formats. + Coproducing training on Trauma-Informed Approach and related topics using evidence-based literature
+ Delivering high quality, interactive training on trauma-informed approaches, adapting to the needs of the attendees and format being used (Teams or f2f)
+ Develop resources to support the training
+ Evaluating the training programme using a variety of methods and analysis
+ Supporting the write up of findings and dissemination of these
+ Supporting services to implement TIA through consultation
+ Working in a coproduced team
