Full Job Description

As the Travel and Accommodation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing all travel and accommodation requests for the Group. This role offers opportunities for professional development and career growth, providing you with a chance to make a significant impact on our organisation and its operations., Sourcing and Booking:

  • Manage the booking of flights, car hire, and hotel accommodation.

  • Work closely with external travel agencies and travel management companies to source and book flights and hotel accommodations for all areas of the Group.


  • Travel Coordination:
  • Handle travel and accommodation arrangements.

  • Coordinate with Downing Street Press Office, Buckingham Palace/Clarence House Press Offices, Sports Travel Agencies, etc., regarding travel packages arranged for reporters, photographers, and video journalists by third parties.

  • Arrange necessary payments.

  • Update the travel schedule, maintain management information files, and reconcile credit card transactions.


  • Enquiries:
  • Respond to general travel enquiries in a professional and timely manner.


  • Savings and Opportunities:
  • Record savings and missed opportunities.


  • Reporting:
  • Provide monthly spend/activity and ad-hoc reports to finance and budget holders.

    To be successful in this role, you should be competent with Microsoft Office Packages and would ideally have some experience of coordinating travel arrangements.
