Treasurer - Trustee

Citizens Advice Shropshire is here to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find a way forward; whoever they are and whatever their problem.

We learn from the problems and experiences people bring to campaign locally and nationally through our parent body to change policies that impact peoples' lives.

We are looking to strengthen the Trustee Board further by recruiting both a new Treasurer and other Trustees.

Our Treasurer takes the lead in providing support and oversight of our finances - both at a technical and strategic level. We employ a Finance Manager to prepare our accounts and accounting reports to the Board and manage day to day finance operations. Our Treasurer will offer support to the Finance Manager and Chief Executive.

The ideal person will have with a professional background in finance/accounting and, ideally knowledge of charity finance although this is not essential.
