Full Job Description

As a Treasury Chief Invesmnt Office (TCIO) Controller in our London team, you will play a crucial role in managing liquidity reporting and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. This position offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and skill development within a dynamic and collaborative environment., As a TCIO Controller in the Global Treasury team based in London, you will be responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of financial statements, liquidity reporting, and regulatory returns. You will work closely with various Lines of Business (LOBs) and corporate groups to provide a clear understanding of Treasury requirements around liquidity and funding risk for new initiatives.,

  • Prepare and manage liquidity reporting for TCIO EMEA, including daily, monthly, and quarterly regulatory and internal reports (e.g., 6G, US LCR, NSFR, FRY-15).
  • Monitor and investigate discrepancies arising from daily reconciliations between Risk Management Systems and the General Ledger.
  • Control and reconcile collateral, money markets, and other funding management positions impacting liquidity reporting.
  • Oversee month-end ledger close for P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and prepare commentaries on key business drivers for overall P&L and Balance Sheet, including collateral and funding movements, and present results to senior management.
  • Manage quarter-end regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with other TCIO regional controller teams (NA/APAC) to provide transparency on funding changes, new initiatives, and relevant period-over-period variances.
  • Automate and improve existing processes to achieve global consistency and increase efficiencies.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) process.
  • Participate in projects and strategic initiatives impacting ledger and liquidity reporting, including NBIA's, system migration, and LRI's monthly release agenda, involving impact analysis, requirement specification, and UAT/regression testing.
  • Liaise with front office, middle office, technology, finance, and other personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled completion of responsibilities., Our professionals in our Corporate Functions cover a diverse range of areas from finance and risk to human resources and marketing.     Educated to degree level, preferably in business, economics, finance, or accounting.
  • Experience in financial services with knowledge of investment securities, money markets, repo/reverse repo, and FX.
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Highly numerate with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative and manage your own work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly MS Excel.
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience with automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and standards.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is a plus.
