Treasury and Investment Analyst

We are seeking a Treasury and Investment Analyst to join our growing Investment team, based in our Gracechurch Street, London office.

Reporting into the Investment and Treasury Operations Manager, you will use your treasury and investment knowledge and expertise to work in our investment and treasury function . The role involves carrying out activities including cash flow forecasting and daily cash management whilst supporting the investment team in a variety of projects/tasks to include risk and controls, third party oversight, preparation of board papers and other topics.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Treasury activities and cash management.



• Perform liquidity/cash management tasks and help produce accurate cash flow forecasting.



• Assist in preparation of monthly Treasury reports



• Look to suggest procedure improvements and help increase efficiency of the operation.


• Liaise with the investment back office to ensure smooth investment transactions / settlements


• Help in managing third parties including KPI meetings and effective documentation.



• Support Investment Operations on other topics / various projects.



• Support the teams in the implementation of new technology / procedures



• Support control testing and management of risk framework.
  
  To be a success in this role, you will ideally have demonstrable experience working in a Treasury function (however we will also consider applications from people with experience working in other relevant roles within finance) as well as the following:



• Experience of a treasury/cash management function



• Ability to work independently as well as a good team player; strong communication skills


• Demonstrable experience in challenging procedures, improving processes.



• Knowledge of economics and the main asset classes is advantageous


• Knowledge of a data system and fund accounting is advantageous


• Advanced level in Microsoft Office


• Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
