Full Job Description

This position has responsibility for day-to-day
treasury operations, including cash
management, debt facility and derivative
management, treasury accounting and
reporting. The position is also required to
support the Group Treasurer with strategic
funding projects., limited to:

  • Management of the group's cash balances,


  • net debt and headroom position
  • Debt servicing and covenant compliance


  • across the group's facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the group's debt facility


  • and hedging agreements.
  • Accounting for treasury-related transactions.


  • Managing, valuing and accounting for the


  • group's portfolio of derivative financial
    instruments
  • Management of group intercompany debt


  • positions
  • Monthly reporting as required for the


  • management information pack
  • Preparation of treasury disclosures for the


  • annual report/interim management statements
    and other external reporting as required
  • Involvement in, and review of, the group's


  • cash flow forecast, net debt and headroom
    projections
  • Administration of Treasury Management


  • System and internet banking systems
  • Provision of treasury expertise and advice to


  • the group's divisions, joint ventures and funds
    as required
  • Liaise with the Financial Accounting /


  • Reporting and Tax teams as appropriate, developments, we design and develop homes,

  • Treasury qualification (AMCT/MCT) or


  • qualified accountant
  • Previous experience of working within a


  • complex treasury department, ideally in a
    plc setting
  • Experience of managing multiple borrowing


  • facilities and covenant compliance
  • Experience of managing, valuing and


  • accounting for complex derivative financial
    instruments
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to


  • tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate at all levels including


  • Executive directors and Divisional directors
    as well as with divisional colleagues and
    external stakeholders, both orally and in
    writing
  • Good organisational skills and ability to


  • manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and a desire to provide


  • accurate and timely information that is right
    first time
