Full Job Description

The Treasury Operations Manager is a key role within Treasury Operations and reports to the Director, Treasury Operations. The role has 2 direct reports based in Bangalore. The role is key in delivering day-to-day operational management and expertise and the focus is primarily on:

  • Delivering bank account management tasks and projects to a high standard, in adherence with corporate governance and business requirements;
  • Proactively engage with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the Group's cash & banking infrastructure remains fit-for-purpose and delivers the right functionalities to the Group;
  • Proactively support the Director, Treasury Operations in developing and implementing a long-term cash management/infrastructure strategy., Manage and maintain the Group's cash & banking infrastructure globally (currently c. 900 bank accounts across 75 countries) in alignment with Treasury Operations objectives and banks / bank accounts reduction targets;
  • Manage the BAM team's delivery of daily tasks, including bank account opening, closures, changes in mandated signatories;
  • Support the in-flight cash & banking RfPs and lead the delivery of activities and initiatives within the RfP process;
  • Proactively engage with Finance Controllers and FSO to ensure that transactional banking business requirements are met and identify improvements that can be made to the cash & banking infrastructure;
  • Proactively engage with the Sanctions & Compliance team to establish robust and reliable process and workflow to comply with KYC requests;
  • Ensure corporate governance is adhered to, through collaborating closely with Company Secretariat, Procurement and Legal teams;
  • Ensure that BAM controls are appropriate, complied with and reported accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Proactively engage with LSEG's Core banks to identify and implement improvements to the Group's cash & banking infrastructure;
  • Set up and manage transaction banking service reviews to maintain visibility and accuracy of bank charges and provide feedback to our core banking partners
  • Contribute to banking partners' relationship reviews and escalate issues within Treasury when necessary;
  • Contribute to the long term cash management/infrastructure strategy;
  • Coordinate and respond to audit requests pertaining to cash & banking infrastructure

    Planning and tracking delivery of tasks and projects, effective in dealing with multiple requests / activities, ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Strong written communication skills, with preferred experience of drafting Board notes, Memos and Minutes;
  • Articulating requests in a clear and concise manner;
  • Good understanding of Treasury and banking administration processes and controls;
  • Good understanding of corporate governance processes;
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with other LSEG stakeholders and external banking partners;
  • SAP, Oracle and Integrity knowledge desirable., Extensive experience in treasury cash management within a multinational corporation preferred.
