Our service operates 365 day per year 24 hours per day., The job requires prioritisation of all calls received and the allocation of appointments/call backs and referral's to the appropriate service for each patient. You will be expected to make professionally autonomous decisions for which you are accountable and challenge any practice you feel is not accurate. The job involves working closely with all team members including GP's/ED and the streaming team to ensure the best outcome for all patients. We are looking to recruit a highly capable and enthusiastic Triage/Primary Care Nurse who can contribute to the service, as well as ensuring the future development and success of the service.
Primarily, shifts are out of hours - working between the shift times of 18:00 - 08:00 and weekends 08:00-08:00. Including weekends/bank holidays and Nights. However, candidates will be expected to support the Urgent Treatment Centre service as per service demands.
