Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed Private Wealth team in Bristol. Working as part of our Tax & Trust Accounts team as a Trust Assistant, you'll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, preparing trustees' Trust accounts and tax returns., Reporting to a Trust Accounts Manager, you will provide general support to other members of the team. You can expect to be involved in a broad range of tasks which might include bank reconciliations, processing of outgoing electronic payments, preparation of trust accounts and tax returns for review, dealing with the day to day affairs of your client portfolio, ensuring that engagement letters are in place for clients, and that fees are agreed and billed accordingly. You'll also assist other members of the team in the overall management of client affairs.

  • 2 years' working experience in an accountancy practice

  • Knowledge of a range of accounts formats, processes and procedures, working both manually and with relevant systems (especially CCH Trust Accounts)

  • Part or fully AAT qualified
