Full Job Description

This post is for those interested in pursuing psychiatry as a career. Candidates must have GMC registration with a license to practice.The post holder will be based at Blossom Court in Haringey. The post holder will be joiningwell established multi-disciplinary teams which include consultant supervision and other doctors already in post., This is a 12 months fixed term post but there is a possibility of extension beyond this period depending on performance and service need. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the NHS to gain further psychiatricskills and to promote patient centred care in line with our Trust values. The post holder will be expected to work from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The post holder would be invited to join the on call rota or take ad hoc duties via the staff bank, This is fixed term post which has become available due to service gaps. An induction will be provided to your placement explaining roles and responsibilities as well as your workplace. A Trust induction will also be provided after starting in your allocated post.The successful applicant(s) will work within their allocated post. The post will offer the opportunity to perform clinical assessments of individuals with mental health conditions, including mental state examination, history taking, physical health examination and attendance of meetings with the multidisciplinary team.

We support them to get back into the community and to live as independently as they can. We aim to give people the skills they need to look after themselves with our support in the community.
