Trust Doctor in HIV Medicine

We are looking for a keen and motivated junior doctor to join our Consultant-led HIV & Sexual Health services, with the duties as outlined below:
HIV
+ Daily review and management of inpatients under the direct care of the HIV team
+ Two-three weekly review of inpatients under the care of other teams
+ Outpatient HIV clinics with consultant supervision
+ Daily doctor review of emergency patients; review blood results; antiretroviral prescribing
+ Perform administrative duties arising from inpatients and outpatient clinics
The post holder will be based 5 days a week at the North Middlesex hospital providing HIV inpatient and outpatient clinics
work jointly with other trainees in Infectious diseases, General Medicine and GP. They will participate in a rota that includes time as the lead registrar for inpatients, and time as the lead registrar for outpatients.
Prior experience in HIV medicine is not required, but may be of benefit; training and supervision will be provided.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust as a Trust Doctor in HIV Medicine. The post is suitable for candidates who have completed Foundation training (or equivalent) and who are looking to pursue a career in HIV.
