Applications are invited for Trust Doctor within Paediatric Surgery - Registrar Doctor ST3-7 level.This post is suitable for surgeons who have completed their Core Surgical Training and are looking for experience in Paediatric Surgery. Applicants must be fully registered practitioners who have completed basic surgical training.
The Department of Paediatric Surgery provides a secondary and tertiary surgical service to the local and wider population. There are approximately 6000 birth per annum with the neonatal service (including surgery). A full range of sub speciality paediatric surgery and urology is performed except neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, hepatobiliary and oncology.
At Hull Royal Infirmary the facilities enable the service to provide In patient work, out-patient clinics, surgical theatres and Children's Emergency Department. Neonatal surgery is also performed on the Hull Royal Infirmary site, The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Made up of two Trusts - Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) - our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
