Trust Doctor in Rheumatology ST2 equivalent

This 7-month post will offer excellent clinical experience and training in the management of all rheumatological conditions. It provides an opportunity to gain experience in general rheumatology and also the subspecialties including the autoimmune connective tissue diseases and vasculitis's, inflammatory arthritis and the spondyloarthropathies. Through daily work on the dedicated rheumatology day case unit, the post holder will become very experienced in the use of biologic treatments used to treat these conditions and in the management of patients with complex rheumatological multi-system autoimmune conditions., This post will primarily provide daily medical input into the review of patients attending the dedicated rheumatology day case unit thus ensuring that it is safe for patients to receive their treatment and to assess their response to these therapies. The post holder will also have responsibilities for rheumatology inpatients
