Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor Level 1in Paediatrics on a fixed term 12 month contract at Russel's Hall Hospital part of Dudley Group of Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust.
The Paediatric ward is situated on the second floor just opposite to the neonatal unit. It has 41 beds for medical and surgical admissions. It has 9 cubicles and rest is divided into 4 bedded bays. This included 2 HDU beds.
The successful candidate will join with the remaining team of SHO's to provide General Paediatric and Neonatal services for the children of Dudley.

+ You will be supported and expected to participate in audits, research, teaching and service improvement schemes. You will be provided with Trust and departmental induction to help you ease into the job

+ You will be expected to liaise closely with your senior colleagues in all aspects of the patient care until you develop confidence to initiate basic care on your own accord.
+ You will also be doing out-of-hours including long days and night shifts as per rota schedules which will attract a 50% supplement, During out of hours, you will be carrying the Tier 1 crash bleeps and attend any emergencies with senior supervision., We are committed to equal opportunities and want to ensure our workforce is representative of the population we serve.
