Full Job Description

Applications are invited for post of Trust doctor (ST3 +) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for 1 year fixed term. The successful applicant will undertake clinical work to improve their knowledge and skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Currently, there are 20 Consultants in O&G covering all the subspecialties. The trust has had and is having ongoing investment into the Obstetric services allowing an enhanced provision of care to patients requiring Obstetric and Gynaecological needs.,

  • Clinical and non-clinical work in the middle grade in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of Obstetrics and Gynaecology patients.
  • Active participation in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
  • Attend meetings as appropriate.
  • Fulfil duties of weekly timetable including any out-of-hours responsibilities (where applicable).
