Full Job Description

The Surgical Division is a busy working environment, and you must be able to demonstrate significant experience within an NHS or equivalent organisation. This post will cover Dermatology; this role will be busy/varied and at times very demanding. If you are looking for a role that provides you with the opportunity to show off your caring and compassionate side, you like a busy atmosphere, you like working methodically with a good attention to detail, and you can work flexibly, this may be the job for you!As post holder you will:- be a member of a large admin team and will provide an essential first point of contact between the hospital, patients and theirrelatives, and all other healthcare professionals- deal efficiently and effectively with direct and indirect patient contact- track and collect patient notes and be able to work well autonomously and as part of a teamin the ENT department: Part time: 17.5 hours per week, Act as a point of contact for all communications between the Consultant, patients, relatives, all hospital staff, General Practitioners and their staff and outside agencies, maintaining a close working relationship between Consultants and patients as appropriate. Assist in the management of the office administration of the Consultant and designated clinical team. Provide an effective administrative secretarial service, ensuring continuity of service during the Consultant absence.
