Trust Risk Manager

Cambridge University Hospitals is looking for a dedicated and proactive Trust Risk Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality and safety of care provided to our patients.
As a Trust Risk Manager, you will:
+ Further Develop and Implement our Risk Management Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain effective risk management framework that ensure safe and reliable patient care in all divisions.
+ Collaborate with Clinical and Operational Teams: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while promoting a risk aware culture.
+ Provide Training and Guidance: Empower staff with the knowledge and tools they need to manage risk effectively, fostering a proactive risk-aware culture.
+ Transition the organisation from Datix web to Datix DCQI enterprise risk manager: Be instrumental in the design, development and implementation of the Trust's risk register from Datix web to Datix DCQI enterprise risk manager.
+ Improve trust document management: Be accountable for the implementation and continuous development of the Trust's document management processes and the document management system.
+ Leading others: Provide line management to the Trust Document and Patient Information Manager and lead the team through exiting changes in 2024 and beyond.

+ Experience in risk management and/or governance, ideally within healthcare.
+ Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail.
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
+ A commitment to the values of the NHS, with a passion for patient-centered care and operational excellence.
