Full Job Description
We are seeking a committed and motivated individual to join our busy Trauma and Orthopaedics team, which handles a significant volume of trauma and elective patients each year.
With daily trauma lists and a well-structured rota, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care while developing their skills and experience.
Our team is dedicated to supporting professional growth, with a strong history of converting ST1/2 posts into formal training placements.
This role will involve working across the Trust's three sites, with the primary locations being Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultants and will play a key role in supporting the department's services., This role offers candidates the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and experience across a wide range of orthopaedic specialities.
The successful applicant will play a key role within the trauma team.
Primary responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in Trauma and Orthopaedics, with referrals to other clinicians or general practitioners as necessary.
Collaboration with nursing, professional, technical, administrative, and support staff is an essential aspect of this position.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.

£41,750 to £54,468 a year plus £149 HCA per annum
