Full Job Description

Other duties shared between all middle grades include a daily ward round for vascular inpatients, attendance at elective clinics, a Vascular Hot Clinic and the option to attend angioplasties. The elective working week will vary depending on the individual requirements of all trainees in the firm and also based on their level of experience., The Unit functions with a Vascular Middle Grade on-call 1 in 5 weekdays and weekends from 8am to 6pm. Evening and night cover is provided by the General Surgery Registrar from 6pm to 8am. Prospective cover for colleagues is expected. Each week there will be a half-day or full-day of compensatory rest.
