Full Job Description

Trustees will be expected to attend at least 4 in-person Board meetings per year. Plus at least 4 sub group meetings and 2/3 Strategy Days per annum, as well as visiting programmes in action that the Board delivers and attending bi monthly events. Depending on the skill set offered by individuals, Trustees will also have regular additional meetings with Officers in specialist areas to help shape strategy. Remuneration: This is an unpaid role but reasonable expenses incurred are refundable in accordance with BFCCST's Trustee Expenses policy.,

  • To ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including health and safety and safeguarding policies
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
  • To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally, maintaining a professional image at all times when representing Brentford FC Community Sports Trust
  • To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Trust and its personnel
  • To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.

    Brentford FC Community Sports Trust (BFCCST), an award-winning independent charity in partnership with Premier League Brentford Football Club, is seeking 2-3 new Trustees to join our dynamic Board., Brentford FC Community Sports Trust was set up as an independent charity in 2005. The Trust's aim is to use the power of sport to engage, inspire and empower people in west London, by providing opportunities to take part in programmes and activities, thereby improving physical and mental wellbeing, increasing engagement in education and training and enabling people of all ages to realise their potential. Independent assessment of the social impact delivered in recent years has shown a social value in the most recent annual reporting period to March 2023 of over £70 million.
