Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate combined maths and English Tutor to join our dynamic team. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners, fostering their academic development, and preparing them for future success. This position involves working with students aged 16 to 19, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals. Responsibilities include: Plan and deliver engaging and effective Functional English and maths lessons tailored to the needs of 16-19-year-old students. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement. Support work placement set ups and monitoring with employers Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with possible diverse learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of curriculum materials.
