Oldham College Apprenticeship Team is looking for: An experienced Tutor/Assessor Residential Childcare. Early Years and Education (full time) Salary £31,061- £35,997 per annum About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen in our growing Caring Professions Work-Based Learning Team for the appointment of a full time Tutor/Assessor to support our learners undertaking level 4 and 5 apprenticeships and adult part-time qualifications in residential childcare. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Tutor/Assessor who has a proven track record of providing work-based teaching, learning and assessment in this sector area. The successful candidate will hold:

  • A minimum of level 3 residential childcare qualification.
  • A level 3 assessors award.
  • A minimum level 4 teaching certificate and/or be willing to work towards a level 5
  • Ideally have a level 5 management qualification
  • Ideally be a qualified IQA.
  • You will have have experience of supporting the development of up to date knowledge, skills and behaviours relating to the key priorities for this sector and its employers. You will have experience of teaching and assessing apprentices and adults.
