Full Job Description

We work closely with the local authorities, mainstream and SEND schools, and SEND Teams in South London and Surrey, we specialise in providing qualified and experienced tutors to work with young people to promote their engagement and integration with education. You will be supporting students with special educational and complex needs. This may include those with autism, ADHD, SPD (sensory processing disorder), Speech and Language difficulties, as well those struggling with mental and emotional challenges such as trauma induced behaviour, social anxiety and low self-esteem.,

  • Work as part of a specialised team with learning centres (with accesses to resources, technology, lesson plans)

  • Ongoing opportunities for training and development, including sponsored qualifications

  • Flexible and consistent hours, anywhere from 10 - 30 hours per week - dependent on your schedule and availability

  • Entitlement to Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity, Paternity and Ad

    Do you have experience working with a variety of SEND CYP and have a background in teaching or private tutoring?

  • Are you considering moving out of the classroom and into small group or 1:1 tutoring programmes?
    Do you want to make a positive difference in a child's life and ready to take on a challenging yet highly rewarding job?,
  • Experience working with students/young adults in either a school setting, college setting or support and care setting.

  • A good understanding and commitment to Safeguarding

  • A UK Recognised Teaching Qualification, such as PGCE or equivalent or relevant teaching/professional experience

  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
