Full Job Description

  • Managing a team and checking in on internal KPIs
  • Using resourceful methods to collaborate with team on providing success for each client, i.e. if something is not working, this candidate is confident in providing viable solutions to fix any issues
  • Working on PR and comms strategies for all existing clients as well as new business leads
  • Pitching to senior members of press to secure business, fashion & lifestyle features, and profiling opps in all relevant titles
  • Coming up with innovative, creative and new angles that media will be interested in when pitching
  • Brainstorming creative and innovative ideas for each client to incorporate into PR campaigns and strategies
  • Networking and building relationships with media as well as new business leads

    We are a nimble team who offer a very upbeat and friendly work atmosphere and would like a resourceful and motivated Account Manager to join our very collaborative team. This role will be working very closely alongside co-founders Florence van der Spek and Ambika Marrafino., We require someone who is very personable with a strong interest in fashion and lifestyle
  • Someone who has fantastic senior media contacts in the above sectors
  • Someone who can work independently to create PR and comms strategies for any new business clients
  • Someone who can assist the team to maximise press coverage for all brands in both print, online and broadcast media, building press interest in existing products and creating excitement for new launches
  • Tracking and analysing performance and ROI for any PR activations or events
  • Have a willingness to get involved at all levels including a hands-on approach using PR skill set to ensure the smooth running of both our agency and our client's businesses
  • Someone who is happy to play a pivotal role in organising and managing press events where relevant, including handling budget and sourcing an appropriate venue, props, table-scaping, managing media guestlist, etc
  • Someone who is confident to liaise directly with clients and provide constructive feedback and suggestions regarding their strategy, output, results and turn next steps into a workable scope-of-work
  • Someone who reads magazines and is aware of the current media landscape both online and in print
  • Someone who demonstrates excellent researching skills, a can-do attitude, and a high-level of attention to detail
  • The candidate will be required to take initiative, be highly organised with the ability to multitask, and work well as a team as well as independently too, A minimum of 5 years experience in PR (agency or in-house)
  • Superior communication skills, with a portfolio of written work
  • A proven track record of securing press coverage for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle
  • Established relationships with senior-level journalists at national, consumer, lifestyle and women's press media outlets
  • Experience of implementing and managing press events
  • Ability to creatively & strategically plan PR campaigns and comms-strategies
  • Able to work effectively to tight deadlines with strong time management skills
  • Experience working with start-ups and ability to tailor approach client to client
