Full Job Description

As a Healthcare Assistant under the guidance of a senior member of staff you will be taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our Residents. Assisting Residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals delivering a level of care that truly comes from the heart.

You will

It's about making sure our Residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities within the care home. And, whether you're helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed Resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you'll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.

Experience preferred but for the right candidate; we'll provide full training and the opportunity to gain qualifications once probation successfully completed and of course ongoing training, so, it's a great opportunity to learn something new.

This role as Healthcare Assistant includes to support/care for residents whose needs require staff that have effective communication skills with the hard of hearing and as such a good knowledge of the English speaking language is preferred to avoid miscommunication and potential behaviors.

Currently we have a vacancy for a Healthcare Assistant to work Twilight hours 19:30pm to 23:30pm 7 days a week at our busy Residential Home in Ashford, Kent. Driving is essential due to leaving late at night, unless you specify this will not be an issue.

Pay is at age related national minimum wage.
