Full Job Description

Location: Warton - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: 54,793 - 60,326 What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the integration and delivery of the program of engineering activities for the Radar development programme
  • Interacting with the Radar Supplier to ensure key deliverables are met
  • Act as the Radar Team focal point for engineering activities relating to future contract and bid submissions
  • Lead Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives to drive continued operational excellence and product improvement initiatives
  • Provide support to the Lead Consultant Engineer to manage cost and budgets in line with programme and project control team requirements, The Radar Engineering Team is a dynamic and close-knit group dedicated to delivering cutting-edge Radar capabilities for the Typhoon Platform. As a team leader reporting to the Radar Lead Consultant Engineer, you'll lead daily operations, ensuring standards are met with the support of your team. Your role involves managing tasks, collaborating on project milestones, and delivering high-quality products. Success requires strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire the team. This challenging yet rewarding role provides the opportunity to work with and bring new technologies to a proven combat fighter within a supportive team environment.

    Experience of Engineering Integration/Management
  • Knowledge or experience of Supplier Management
  • Familiar with Airborne Radar Systems Integration/Avionics/Mission Systems/Sensors
