UEL Loan and Instrument Repair Supervisor

The post holder will manage all loan requests required for procedures within the theatre environment and organise the loaning of our kit to other trusts where required. The role will be critical in providing instruments, prostheses and consumables in time for the procedures. In addition to the logistics of the loan kit, the post holder will ensure the timely processing of documents to ensure receipt with each supplier. Also be involved in ensuring that the correct process for instrument repairs is adhered to by 3rd parties and internal staff and that all is documented to establish good communication between IHSS, UEL and UHS. The post holder will also be managing the daily activities and service demand. They will be pivotal in managing and organising instrument and endoscope repairs to enable UHS theatres and endoscopy to keep the service operational. The ideal candidate will have relevant theatre experience.
