Full Job Description

  • As the UI/Visual Design Lead, you will have the rare opportunity to shape the visual direction of our products and set a world-leading quality bar for design excellence.

  • This is a key role within our Product and UI team, where you you'll be at the forefront of the most exciting, high-impact work our team is producing.

  • You will push creative boundaries, elevate the overall design aesthetic, and drive innovation in visual design.

  • You'll also bring expertise in multiple areas of visual design including infographics, data visualisation, typography, layout and motion design., Shape the visual direction, lead and define the visual design language across our product suite.

  • Elevate design quality, establish and maintain a world-class quality bar for visual design, ensuring that every product we deliver is both visual striking and functionally seamless.

  • Work closely with Product, UX, Design System and Brand teams to create visually engaging, user-centred designs that align with business goals and enhance the overall user experience.

  • Collaborate with other design disciplines on exciting, challenging design tasks, directly contributing to the execution of key projects.

  • Monitor design trends and best practices, ensuring that our products remain at the cutting edge of visual design and user interaction.

  • Advocate for design excellence, communicate and present design concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions with your expertise and passion for design.

    Experience required:

  • Proven experience in a senior design role, with strong portfolio that demonstrates world-class visual design and UI.

  • Expertise in UI/UX best practices, design systems, typography, colour theory, layout principles and interaction design.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex design concepts to stakeholders.

  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across departments and drive alignment on visual direction

  • Experience creating infographics and data visualizations, with a strong ability to translate complex data into clear and compelling visuals. (preferred)

  • Knowledge of motion design and interface transitions, enhancing user experience with smooth animations and dynamic interfaces. (preferred)
