Full Job Description

Leadership role responsible for JLL's service delivery of Data Center FM/IT Services Operations for country portfolio related to enterprise, colocation, hyperscale and edge computing. The role is responsible for self-delivery of technical services, ensuring deployment of JLL's CEM programme and supports sales, solutions, due diligence, transitions, operations and compliance of Data Centers.

What this job involves:

  • Provide Data Center operational direction/leadership at the account level to advance Data Center capabilities and JLL market share in FM and IT services while promoting DC lifecycle products

  • JLL's self-performance of technical services.

  • To ensure HSE and contractual compliance for Data Center operations.

  • Responsible to enable growth within Data Center sector service line

  • Build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote JLL's DC Management expertise that covers FM Operations, Consulting, Transaction Management or Leasing and Project Management.

  • Implement standard business operating mechanisms such as regular team meetings, strategic review forums, training conferences and regular analysis and reporting processes to ensure team engagement and alignment and to provide an effective and efficient business operation in Data Center FM

  • Lead teams of indirect and direct employees influencing business outcomes for the Data Center/CEM global service offering

  • Responsible to drive operational excellence focusing on operational performance/compliance

  • Actively participate in Engineering Operations and DC Operations activities by attending required meetings and developing and implementing programs and procedures on a priority basis so as to support the Engineering platform and strategy.

  • Provide Energy & Sustainability leadership to UK DC accounts

  • Interface with JLL Energy & Sustainability team

  • Responsible to drive a culture of 100% Data Center uptime managing KPIs according to JLL contractual parameters exceeding customer expectations

  • Ownership and support for deployment of CEM tools and processes.

  • Support Data Center business pursuits with divisional and regional business ensuring targets are achieved

  • Coordinate between Solution Development, Engineering Operations platform, Transactions Management, Project Management and provide a key linkage between the wider JLL organisation and client representatives.


  • Provide Data Center solutions and new business transition support

  • Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients and the JLL DC facilities management and Engineering Operations teams as required. Attend QBRs for major Data Center accounts as required.


  • Monitor market trends and changes to ensure that JLL provides industry best practice in the delivery of DC FM Operations


  • Drive deployment of Data Center products and support post-deployment and feedback loop.

  • Provide input to strategic Data Center product bundle to enhance JLL Data Center capabilities.

  • Provide ownership of all DC/CE managed space within a designated area.

  • Leadership of our Data Center best practices focused on networking, best in class performance, program/playbook updates and Engineering Center of Excellence.

  • Act as subject matter expert and single point of contact for Data Center operational management within your assigned responsibility.

  • Consult with clients and account leadership with all aspects of Data Center operations, management, account expansions and design.

  • Lead/support critical environments portfolio transitions, technical due diligence, root cause analysis, personnel development and establishing technical training programs.

  • Maintain effective communications with external and internal clients, technical personnel, and key management

  • Position may require travel.

    Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent or relevant experience.

  • Significant Data Center operations experience related to FM or IT service delivery

  • Ability to drive multiple accounts within a division or region

  • Ability to interact with senior management internally and externally.

  • Ability to articulate value proposition to prospect clients(c-suite) and deliver on solution

  • Previous P&L management experience required.

  • Thorough understanding of Data Center systems related to operational delivery.

  • Thorough understanding of IT raised floor, co-location, hyper-scale and cloud environments.

  • Prior experience with development of mission critical programs, procedures, and DCIM/MCIM/CMMS systems.
