Full Job Description

Reporting directly to the UK General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of Ryanair's 11 UK Engineering Outstations and a team of 150+ Engineers and Supervisors. Daily duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG's and Third Party Liaison.
  • Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management.
  • Ensuring appropriate spares, tooling and facilities are available at each location.
  • Budgeting, invoicing and negotiation/management of contracts with external suppliers/companies
  • Conducting regular visits to Line Stations across the UK, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence.
