Full Job Description

Management

  • Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing a documented system of Controlling processes, policies and procedures
  • Invoicing
  • Enforcing accountable invoicing processes to deliver business results
  • Appropriate clients are invoiced in accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain tight invoicing deadlines
  • Ensure work is coordinated and delivered on time to a high standard of accuracy and quality
  • Reviewing data in Money Maker and evaluations & analysis of data with Qlik View
  • Budgeting
  • Participate in budget processes, ensuring adequate annual planning is undertaken
  • Assist in preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
  • Preparation of financial forecasts
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
  • Financial Analysis
  • Engages in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance
  • Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
  • Reporting
  • Collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
  • Assist in producing reports to IFRS standards including: month end, quarterly and ad hoc financial reports (such as cash flow statements, monthly P&L, balance sheet, aged credit and debit reports)
  • Auditing
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
  • Further tasks
  • Calculation of staff commissions, assisting in the payroll function.

    University degree (ideally with specialization in Finance / Controlling)
  • 3 years of experience in a Finance or Controlling position for an international corporation
  • Professional accountancy training (AAT,CIMA,ACCA Part Qualified/Qualified)
  • Experience with budget planning, managing reporting processes and developing controlling standards
  • In depth knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
  • Ability to develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures
  • Excellent MS-Office knowledge, especially with regards to working with MS Excel
  • Experience with different ERP-Tools or knowledge about Financial Software is an advantage
  • Excellent English-language skills
