Full Job Description

As a UK and International Freight Manager you will manage a team who co-ordinate and control the UK, inbound and outbound supply of Aftermarket Parts globally from suppliers and to specific markets across all transport modes. You will achieve this through executing the processes and procedures required in an accurate and timely manner to minimise any delay to the customer. As part of your key responsibilities you'll:

  • Lead a team of first line managers to ensure they are effective leaders
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are achieved and maintained throughout your team
  • Recruit exceptional people into the business and develop colleagues through the use of succession planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, the customer and colleagues across all levels
  • Maintain all aspects of stock integrity and ensure ownership of activities and resolutions
  • Ensure quality requirements are met, identifying and supporting any performance improvement opportunities

  • Understanding of environmental regulations would be advantageous
