Full Job Description
- Identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities within the facility and rolling out improvement projects.
- Using Continuous Improvement and Industrial Engineering techniques to measure processes and quantify improvements.
- Ergonomics projects to improve manual handling processes with the use of lifting equipment.
- Coordinating cross functional UKLC projects with strategic importance to business transitions or processes.
- Review and improve current picking & packing processes for production & aftermarket customers.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions, data analysis and presenting findings to the leadership team. Share best practices with other sites in the Cummins network.
We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Business/Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning/Statistics degree. - Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present confidently to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Solution orientated with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel would be beneficial.
