Full Job Description
Join ALPADIA's team to make Summer 2025 an unbelievable experience! We are looking for highly motivated people, who have the ability to engage and inspire young students, and who are looking for an enriching and educational experience themselves. The UK Transfer Coordinator supports the UK Transfer Manager in the administrative preparation and running of all Airport & Train Station transfers and operations, for both arriving and departing Alpadia students. This involves maintaining positive relationships with Alpadia's transfer providers, quality control and ensuring data is received and submitted professionally and in good time. You will work very closely with the UK Transfer manager in a remote capacity. You will support the transfer team, made up of Alpadia Airport & Train Representatives. For all students who have paid an additional fee to be escorted to and from the airport by ALPADIA, the Airport/Train Representative is responsible for ensuring this is done efficiently, comfortably and above all safely. The role can be a demanding one, as there are several variables (for example flight delays), which will mean you need to plan ahead, think on your feet and possibly even amend the schedule as appropriate (full details will be provided at induction). However, the role is also rewarding and developing and a key one in our camps.,
- Communicate effectively with the transfer team, head office, transfer providers and customer care teams ensuring that all find Alpadia to be a professional and respectful partner.
- Ensure the administration, by supporting the UK Transfer Manager in terms of weekend arrivals and departures, is processed accurately and any missing data is queried, chased and updated in an orderly and professional manner.
- Support the UK Transfer Manager in any reasonable tasks that are asked
- Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care
- Liaise with taxi drivers/firms to ensure vehicles are met at the airport/train station in a timely manner.
- Communicate in a professional and clear manner with taxi drivers/firms to arrange suitable pick up and drop off points, which will vary from terminal to terminal.
- Monitor all arrivals on Sunday and departures on Saturday, liaising closely with the Transfer Manager, transport partners and other stakeholders to manage any flight delays/other issues that may occur.
- Study the transfer schedule prepared by you and the Transfer Manager in advance of each weekend, highlighting any discrepancies or concerns in advance of transfer days.
- Stick to your predicted working hours, sent through by the Transfer Manager in advance of each week, and liaise with him/her on the day of transfers should any unexpected events make varying these hours necessary. Do not unilaterally work different hours unless you discuss it with the Transfer Manager first.
- Always represent ALPADIA in a professional manner, working directly with the Transfer Manager to predict, highlight and resolve any issues that may arise.
