This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK FSO Assurance Operations team. Your prime responsibility will be to support the UKFS Assurance leadership team in maintaining, reporting on and enhancing operational discipline across the business.

The opportunity
This role reports to the UK FSO Assurance Operations Director, providing a rare opportunity to help shape the business. This is an established role in which you will have ample opportunity to drive the strategy by reviewing, assessing and delivering the top priorities of the industry leader. This involves exposure to senior stakeholders including global and regional leadership as well as sector service line, account, country and strategic solutions leaders.

You will be part of a small and highly-collaborative team, working with colleagues from other EY functions (e.g., Markets, Finance, Talent, Knowledge and GDS)., 1. Provide operational support across the following areas:
+ Business Performance and Management
+ Deliver on business improvement initiatives to drive efficiency such as improved operational lifecycle management of our engagements
+ Ongoing monitoring of core BAU activities and reporting to leadership
+ Generate reporting to provide leadership have suitable business information relating to team and engagement metrics - providing appropriate insights and any recommended corrective actions
+ Work closely with our other colleagues, from the business as well as functions such as Resourcing, for effective operational leadership
2. Comms and regular meetings
+ Drive the agenda for recurring leadership meetings, prepare MI, be responsible for capturing key actions and driving the subsequent activity required
+ Working with Leadership on the organisation and preparation of Assurance-wide communications
3. Other
+ Operational and strategic projects upon request, which may be wider than the Assurance SL
+ Work and build relationships with multiple stakeholders from across the organisation to obtain information and understanding of key processes

  • Advanced Excel

  • Excellent use of PowerPoint

  • Professional, confident, credible communicator, able to work effectively with all levels

  • Logical mindset with ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data

  • Proactive nature who can think of ways to improve existing processes and find opportunities to add value to the business, bringing fresh insight and solutions
