The ultrasound department is bright and modern with nine ultrasound rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art GE ultrasound equipment. The department is fully linked to PACS., To be an effective member of the Ultrasound team, providing a high qualityultrasound service to both Doctors and patients. To carry out and monitor allaspects of work in the Ultrasound Department and to provide an effectiveservice within the procedures and guidelines agreed with Consultants andDepartmental protocols.
The range of work would include early pregnancy, obstetrics, Nuchal Translucency scans, gynaecology, subfertility, transvaginal and Doppler ultrasound. Applicants must hold a Certificate in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent qualification) and have experience in the fore-mentioned scanning techniques and scan to a very high standard.
