Full Job Description

At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 - 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement. Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office. Role: Ensuring the safety of our customers is one of Honda's highest priorities. You will be part of the team who launches Product Safety Campaigns for automobile and motorcycle to ensure our products meet Honda's high-quality standards. You will be involved in all stages of Product Safety Campaigns, including essential reporting and analysis, and improving campaign performance with proactive projects. Alongside your manager, you will present your findings to stakeholders of all levels including your peers, senior management in Honda Motor Europe, as well as Honda Motor in Japan.,

  • Assisting in gathering all necessary information for you to lead the set-up of Product Safety Campaigns and launch to the European region.
  • Manage and maintain accuracy of the reporting of Product Safety Campaigns
  • Analyse campaign performance and recommend improvement plans.
  • Provide help and support for all markets within the European region.
  • Organise our biannual in-person meeting attended by all European Branches from location sourcing, invitation sending to physical attendance & presentation.
  • With guidance from your manager, research & examine potential new ideas and initiatives in the European region, including communicating with Honda Motor, European Honda organisations and suppliers.

    Must be an undergraduate looking for a placement as part of their studies.
  • A positive mindset that involves being confident and willing to tackle challenges, new tasks, or problems.
  • Computer literate and numerate with the ability to work with data to a high level of accuracy. Including using Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work as part of a team and to motivate yourself to work under your own initiative.
  • Customer focused and able to present information to reflect market requirement.
  • Ability to travel within UK and European region (as required).
  • Good communicator with strong presentation and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of the automotive and motorcycle business would be beneficial but not essential
