Job Title: Industrial Placement Submarines Weights Engineer Join Our Submarines Team Join our team to design, build, test, and commission the largest and most advanced submarines ever operated by the Royal Navy.   • Preparing data for technical and production departments to assist them in handling and transporting units, sub-units, modules, and rafts.
  • Undertaking functional design and providing specialist advice and qualification within your scope of responsibility.
  • Reviewing, surveilling, and auditing to ensure that engineering data, analysis methodologies, and interpretation of results are valid.
  • Producing evidence in support of qualification, legislative requirements, and safety justifications.
  • Identifying and rapidly closing issues emerging from all product lifecycle stages and managing change embodiment activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure their requirements are supported and needs are considered and incorporated when appropriate. Skills
  • Minimum of being on track to obtain a 2.2 in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
