University Centre Reaseheath - Specialist Support Professional - Casual Role

This is an exciting time for University Centre Reaseheath (UCR) as our Higher Education programmes continue to grow and develop. Our Inclusive Learning Teams delivers bespoke in-house support for undergraduate students, allowing each one to reach their full potential. We are seeking to increase our support capacity by recruiting a Specialist Support Professionals to deliver DSA funded 1:1 specialist support to students. The drive to support students to overcome their barriers to learning alongside good teamworking and communication skills are vital in this role.,

• Provides specialist 1:1 support empowering students to achieve their potential.


• Produces and reviews individual student Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAPs) in order to assist in the planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment support


• Monitors and reviews the progress of individual students using Individual Coaching Plans (ICP's) and administers relevant documentation to ensure that support is targeted, relevant and builds resilience


• Ensures compliance with internal and external quality assurance and audit processes to enable consistency in delivering learning support


• Ensures DSA timesheets are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  
  Flexible and adaptive to the needs of the students and the service.


• In depth knowledge and experience of the demands of HE study.


• Understands the importance of professional boundaries, safeguarding and confidentiality.


• Knowledge of strategies which students may be able to use to overcome specific barriers to learning.


• Able to deliver face to face sessions at Reaseheath Campus.
