Full Job Description

The Royal Surrey Foundation Trust is an established regional unit for both UGI and H&N surgery and oncology, with chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments delivered onsite at Royal Surrey Cancer Centre. You will be supporting patients from diagnosis throughout their treatment pathway including through oncological and surgical interventions. This will include working on our surgical wards, within the cancer centre and at multidisciplinary outpatient clinics across the network.

If you are an experienced, HCPC registered dietitian with growing interest in surgery and oncology, looking for an opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

You will be a part of an award winning, proactive dietetic department at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford. As an integral member of both MDTs, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in the dietetic management of both oncology and surgical UGI and H&N patients in a supportive environment with peer supervision and on the job training.

You will join a forward thinking dietetic team which undertakes the training of A, B and C placement students, and also focuses on research and audit in its areas of activity to promote clinical effectiveness in patient care. You will be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, with the chance to shadow and learn from experienced specialist dietitians., Royal Surrey is a compassionate and collaborative acute and community Trust. Recognising that our 5000 colleagues are our greatest strength, we offer a comprehensive health and wellbeing program along with a commitment to developing and advancing your career. Our diverse and welcoming Royal Surrey family will ensure you that you feel valued from your initial interview through your entire tenure.
