Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with our urology cancer specialist nursing team to support the operational delivery of clinical services, by taking an active role in supporting CNS and MDT teams with the support and management of care pathways for urological cancer patients., We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational skills, to deliver the following main duties of the cancer support worker role:

Provide information and support to cancer patients

To be a point of contact for cancer patient's queries, referring and signposting onto appropriate services

Take an active role in contributing towards the development and implementation of cancer survivorship initiatives enabling people affected by cancer to navigate the health and social care system and become self-supportive eg health & well-being events.
