Join us at the Bodleian Libraries as a User Experience Librarian and be instrumental in creating a welcoming and engaging library environment that meets the needs of our diverse user community. This is an exciting opportunity to improve the user experience of the Bodleian Libraries by designing, undertaking, analysing and reporting research into the experience of our users. As part of the small, friendly, supportive Assessment Team, you will undertake user experience research in support of Strategic projects, for example user testing developments of existing resource discovery tools; researching user needs from new library services; and supporting colleagues to undertake and embed local user experience research into the comfort of physical library spaces. You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect, build trust with, and work effectively with diverse user groups. You will have a postgraduate degree in librarianship/information management/psychology/anthropology/another social science subject (or equivalent experience) and a strong customer service ethos with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and advocate for change.
