Full Job Description

We are looking to hire a UX Designer to join our team working on building tools to help users understand the performance of applications on Graphcores hardware and software. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces for our sophisticated analysis software, with a focus on data visualization. You'll work closely with our engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective solutions.
The Team
The Analysis Tools team builds profiling tools to help users optimise their applications for Graphcore hardware. The team is responsible for collecting profiling data from the Graphcore hardware and software, processing the data and presenting the profiling information to the user via command line tools and graphical applications.
Responsibilities and Duties

Design user interfaces
Wireframing
High fidelity interactive prototypes
Contribute to usability research efforts, including planning and conducting user research studies and analysing and disseminating findings to inform design decisions
Maintaining the research repository to ensure insights are easily accessible
Promote the importance of user research and design principles internally
Maintain and contribute to our design library, to ensure consistency and efficiency of the design process

Experience in UX/UI design and/or a degree in a relevant subject
Portfolio that showcases UX/UI design skills and experience (please attach a PDF or provide a link)
Proficiency in a design prototyping tool such as Figma or Adobe XD
Superb communication and collaboration skills

Desirable

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Atomic design principles
Experience with usability testing tools like UserTesting or UserZoom
Experience working in technical software and designing data visualisations
Strong graphic visual design skills
