Full Job Description
As a UX Designer, you will have a passion for users and championing their needs, as well as research, analysis and problem solving. You will be able to work closely with our clients and their users across a variety of new and existing projects to produce innovative solutions to their design challenges. Responsibilities will include :
- Working closely with users throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Lead planning of all UX related activities, through from initial discovery through research, analysis and user testing
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams (including Business Analysts, Developers and Delivery Managers) capturing their insights and perspectives to enable the creation of design response to any given task or design challenge.
- Partnering with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to align designs with user needs and business goals.
- Developing and maintaining a scalable design system ensuring consistency across digital products.
- Lead planning and running user research studies such as conducting user interviews, stakeholder workshops, focus groups and conducting user testing
- Running effective workshops from initial planning and design, through client engagement and facilitation to results and translating outputs into deliverables that improve the UX of a project Due to the nature of the work, this role will be based 5 days per week from customer site.
- Working with a wide range of user research techniques and analysis, such as Contextual Inquiry, Ethnographic Research, Workshops, User Interviews, Empathy Maps and validated learning
- Experience working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Highly Proficient with design tools including Figma
- Working with customers and users to gather requirements and translating them into effective design solutions.
- Experience conducting user research using a variety of techniques Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
