Full Job Description

You will be working collaboratively with many different teams in the business which will help build your understanding of the wider business and build relationships with others. The job is challenging due to the high workload and spontaneous jobs, so there will always be something to do. You will be deciding on a day-to-day basis that will have a direct impact on customer emergency relief and technician workload.

What you'll be doing as a Planner

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and organising workloads for field teams within our Service Management Centre. Key responsibilities will include:

+ Planning and scheduling planned and reactive works to field engineers.
+ Liaising with permitting coordinators within Local authorities.
+ Keeping customers updated through their journey.
+ Monitor the progress of field activity throughout the day.
+ Manage allocation and completion of emergency works day, including related housekeeping, permit allocations and updates.
+ Updating field supervisors of changes to schedule in the day.
+ Utilising all available systems to understand requirements to complete complex activities.
+ Working with regional teams to prioritise upcoming work.

+ Great attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
+ Previous office administrative experience.
+ Previous customer service experience.
+ Having an understanding of the Clean Water network would be preferable.
+ Fully proficient at using IT systems & be able to adapt to using new software quickly.
+ Be a team player and support co-workers.

+ Salary of £24,000 per annum depending on skills and previous relevant experience.
+ 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
