  • Knowledge and understanding of the Planning Service and its processes
  • Experience of administrative support within a Local Planning Authority or other similar local government organisation using a variety of computerised systems
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • A thorough understanding of customer care and related standards
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of analysing problems and finding appropriate solutions
  • A knowledge and understanding of GDPR compliance
