- Knowledge and understanding of the Planning Service and its processes
- Experience of administrative support within a Local Planning Authority or other similar local government organisation using a variety of computerised systems
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- A thorough understanding of customer care and related standards
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience of analysing problems and finding appropriate solutions
- A knowledge and understanding of GDPR compliance
