Full Job Description

To work within the Mawdsleys Logistics Transport operation and working collaboratively with the Transport & Warehouse supervisors and team leaders; to ensure the safe, legal, and efficient distribution of all product maintaining an ever-present focus on adherence to MHRA compliance and provide exceptional customer delivery standards to all end-users.,

  • Ensure that operations are carried out in adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles;

  • Represent Mawdsleys Logistics in an ambassadorial manner at all times to both internal and external customers;

  • Deliver pharmaceutical products for all ML customers, on time, in full wherever possible;

  • Adhere to the business SOP package to ensure driver and vehicle activities are compliant with DVSA regulations;

  • To maintain driving licence validity;

  • To operate an LCV in-line with all rules of the road and training provided;

  • Ensure MHRA regulations are followed by supporting and completing temperature monitoring and management requirements;

  • Support the ML Transport management team with all Transport enquiries;

  • Communicate effectively, efficiently and coherently with other drivers, customers and internal Management;

  • To support the Transport Operational team during periods of high work volume and during absence;

  • Be an integral part of the Mawdsleys Logistics team across the wider business, building relationships and a teamwork ethos;

  • Be involved, if relevant, in projects that are required to support the business strategy.
