Van Driver

As a result, we are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers based out our Wakefield (J41) depot. The main purpose of the role will be to support with daily deliveries to new and existing customers across the northern region. 5 days over 7, will include some weekend working. 35 hours per week,

• Deliver parcels to our customers safely, efficiently and on time (25-40 drops per shift)
• Pick up and & parcel returns
• Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit to customer
• Uplifting previous days orders
• Complete all documentation as per company procedure
• Break down, allocate and load inbound supplies
• Support with picking orders in the warehouse as and when needed
• Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
• Adhere to company procedures and policies
Our ideal candidate:
• Full UK driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
• No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR
  
  Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses & streets
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi drop driving and warehouse role
• Undergo a background check/drug & alcohol test if successful
• Ability to pass driving assesment
