Vascular Laboratory AssistantBand 2PermanentFull Time & Part Time Hours AvailableThis busy, friendly, vascular laboratory has a vacancy for a vascular assistant. The post will involve rotation between vascular laboratories on the Aintree and Royal Liverpool Hospitals. Both departments are part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.The main working hours for this job are,Monday to Friday 0830 - 1630. Scope for further weekend, evening and bank holiday working is also expected., This is an exciting post, requiring multi-disciplinary team working with multiple staff groups both clinical and non clinical. It will involve caring for a wide range of patients and providing assistance with ultrasound-based procedures and examinations.Under the supervision of a registered Radiographer/Nurse assisting the Departmental team inproviding the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer.

Previous NHS health care experience is an advantage, together with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a health care based area is expected.
